'Beautiful cool climate shiraz (syrah) expression here. Murdoch Hill should firmly be on the radar by now.
Pretty red fruited, briary, white pepper and charcuterie scents. Savoury from the get go. Medium weight, slinky textured, rose hip jam meets game meat flavours, pinch of pepper and smudged-slate-like tannins to close. Distinctive, elegant red of high charisma. Almost pinot-like in a way. Just lovely really. 93 points.' Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
