It is an offence if delivery of any liquor sold by The Australian Wine Centre by internet, telephone, facsimile, or mail order is received by a minor. It is an offence to misrepresent your age in order to purchase liquor for either yourself or a minor under the age of 18. You remain bound by all applicable liquor laws in your country, state or territory in conjunction with your use of this website.
We offer Credit Card processing and Direct Deposit. Credit Card payments are made directly through SecurePay's 128 bit SSL Encryption software to ensure your personal details are kept safe. None of your payment details are stored, this ensures you will be happy with your transaction.
It is the customer’s obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at time of ordering. If the wrong address is entered, there may be delays in delivering your order or it may result in the loss of the order altogether. We are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
For international deliveries, importation taxes and duties may apply. These vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the customer/recipient.
For international deliveries, an Estimated Time of Arrival will be quoted at the time of purchase. However, due to international customs there may be occasions when the order does not arrive in the specified timeframe. We will always do our best to keep you informed of any foreseeable delays.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the due date, we will lodge enquiries with the freight company to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible.
Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, a replacement will not be dispatched immediately but only when we have concluded if and why the order is missing. Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, the customer agrees that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order.
If a customer receives a product that is not what was expected we will replace the item or refund the value. It is the customer’s responsibility to send the item back to our postal address in its original unopened, undamaged condition.
