2 x Fighting Gully Road Chardonnay 2016 - '50/50% from the estate vineyard and Smiths Vineyard, wild-fermented in Italian-coopered French oak and matured for 10 months. Has that distinctive Beechworth chardonnay flavour, pitched precisely in the midpoint between stone fruit and citrus, and the polished mouthfeel that follows.' James Halliday
2 x Fighting Gully Road Sangiovese 2016 - 'Chianti clones are destemmed and whole-berry fermented, Brunello clones crushed and 'worked a little harder.' Matured in a mix of oak for 12 months. A good sangiovese that has repaid the complex vinification, first up with a fragrant rose petal/cherry blossom bouquet, the palate in a state of flux as savoury notes come and go, sour and fresh cherries playing hide and seek.' James Halliday
2 x Fighting Gully Road Shiraz 2016 - 'This is a damn fine wine. It’s savoury, stringy and structured but it just provides so much pleasure. Anise and black cherries, white pepper and deli meat flavours are the guts of it, though florals are important here too. It’s a ripper.' Campbell Mattinson
