“Blueberry, boysenberry, dried roses, cocoa and baking spice. Medium-bodied, plenty of pencilly firm tannin, but something of a pretty mouth-perfume too, freshness, some black olive savoury stuff, distinct ‘mineral’ feel to acidity, pulling more to red fruits on a long and chalky finish. Lovely energy here, and a tighter more serious release in 2019.”
