Yarra Yering 3 Pack

Each pack contains ONE EACH of these iconic Yarra Valley wines:

Yarra Yering Dry Red #1 2017

‘A classic blend of 70% cabernet sauvignon, 18% merlot, 8% malbec and 4% petit verdot. Hand-picked and sorted, crushed and destemmed, open-fermented, on skins for up to a month, matured for 12 months in French oak (35% new). This is the serious side of ’17. The aromas and flavours are still fresh and vibrant, but the palate, in particular, brooks no argument: this is a wine for protracted cellaring to allow the whipcord-tight structure to relax its grip. 98 points.’ James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion

Yarra Yering Dry Red #2 2018

‘Shiraz 95%, mataro 3%, viognier 1%, marsanne 1%. Impeccable form. There’s a sweetness to the fruit and a savouriness to the finish, redcurrant and twists of herbs, with floral overtones and oak as garnish. It’s smooth-skinned but not syrupy; it’s a wine in complete control. Not a question mark in sight. 95 points.’ Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front

Yarra Yering Dry White #1 2017

‘An “in the know” wine if ever there was one. Snaffle a bottle and I’d reckon you’ve Beat The Wine System. This Dry White Wine No. 1 from 2017 is a wine to tuck into your memory bank, if not into your cellar. It is not the headline act of the Yarra Yering range but it’s a diamond. Saline, floral, textural, crisp with green apple, slashed with citrus and cut with white peach. If you put your ear to the bottle, you can hear sea shells. It belongs in the sun, in pristine stemware, but it’ll be better off if given a stint in the dark, on musty shelves. 94 points.’ Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
