Vinification:Â 3 day cold soak followed by a 14 day fermentation kept cool to retain freshness and the beautiful varietal aromas.
Maturation:Â 16 months in large format French, American and Hungarian oak with 27% new oak and the remainder in 2nd used and barrels older than 5 years.
Colour:Â Bright, intense, ruby red.
Aroma:Â Super lifted and very complex, cherry, rhubarb, cola, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, savoury spice and delicate minerality with lots of character and interest
Palate:Â Vibrant red fruits including cherry and wild strawberry, cola and spice both sweet and savoury, fresh acidity excellent length with powdery tannins.
